    For my commercial project, I have elected to work as a duo with Felipe Lopez. This exciting and riveting project almost provokes the assignee to attempt the task alone however I believe it is most beneficial to me if I attempt this project with a hard-working partner like Felipe. I believe that this two manned approach produces these benefits due to the ability two collaborate when contrasted with two. I also believe that the utilization of two directors allows for more quality control based on the combination of both group members' error detection skills. 
    
   My assessment of these benefits led me to come to the conclusion listed above I chose Felipe as my partner for other reasons. Felipe and I have been friends for a long period of time this lengthy friendship ensures that our collaboration will not result in a feud or grudge. This long and healthy relationship has also shown me how dedicated Felipe is in regard to academia. He always has provided me with help or assistance when I needed it most. Felipe has always put his best foot forward when completing group assignments in the past. I also selected Felipe Lopez for film-related topics as well, Felipe Lopez is currently learning how to master video editing software and he and I both have a grasp on video editing. Furthermore, Felipe is intuitive when dealing with technological issues on and off location. All of these mental attributes make Felipe a very useful asset.

    Speaking of location Felipe provides extreme luxury when filming as his place of residence is perfect for making music videos or commercials involving luxury items. For example, Felipe's residence has a nice pool luxurious amenities, and finally a beautiful clubhouse. The set provided even is in a downtown location which will make a high profile and flamboyant characters and scenes seem more realistic. Even as a novice in the film it is obvious to almost all that access to this legendary status location will the tasks I am faced with much simpler. These reasons on top of Felipe's impeccable and tireless work ethic will make my assignments much simpler and enjoyable.  

All of these reasons have led me to believe that working in a partnership will make my life much much simpler throughout my career. This use of a partner has also made me more inspired to pursue this class. In totality, I believe that this decision will be remembered as a very essential and beneficial one in the future.

Time and Order

      Today I began the process of determining which shots will be included in the final product and what order they would fit into the puzzle of creating a film. I decided to edit this project on the movie because I felt that using familiar software would allow me to curate the best film I could while I gain a better understanding of the more technical programs for my future projects. I also decided to choose this program because it would let my group easily import the takes we recorded due to the transferability between all of our recording devices. I began this process by ordering the takes based on their desired chronological order and working from there.      Once I compiled the clips in this fashion I started to examine the clips and remove those that clearly were not usable in the final product. Production Blog: Corrections

           After a successful day of filming my groupmates and I began to review the footage we filmed the day prior. This process took us around thirty minutes as we shuffled through all of our footage and finally decided upon which footage we would use in the editing process. After this I finalized the order of the our music video and which scenes should be included. Overall this was not very difficult as only a few scenes being where removed.     However, this process revealed a major flaw in our production process which was two improperly shot scenes. These missing scenes where located in the section of the music video where the friend of the main character was knocked unconscious. At first this issue seemed minor however, as I continued to re-watch the video I realized it did not meet the expected standards.
